Steve Major, a multi-talented Canadian/Hungarian artist, designer, and producer hailing from Barrie, Canada, has been captivating audiences since his early years. He boasts an impressive resume featuring leading roles in professional musical theatre on land and at sea, film, and television. Steve has also achieved international acclaim through album and single releases with major record labels and was the creative force behind Barrie's reality television series and original music competition on Rogers TV, 'LOCAL LIVE CANADA™.'

Steve's professional career began when he landed the role of 'Kurt VonTrap' in Rogers and Hammerstien's 'The Sound of Music.' He then played other roles such as 'Oliver' in 'Oliver,' 'Joseph' in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,' and Roger in 'Rent'. In 1998, while attending Etobicoke School of the Arts and majoring in musical theatre, he earned his first studio recording credit, 'The Groove Club', proudly produced by Sony Music Canada. His musical journey continued with the release of an international album 'ST.Eves - All That I Need', through DEP/Universal Music in 2006, a soul-stirring full-length solo album of original material 'Steve Major - Undoing' in 2015, and a self-titled EP in 2018. Steve worked closely on the majority of his music with award winning producer/mixer Michael Jack, who wields twenty-seven gold and platinum record awards and has charted over twenty times on the U.S. Billboard Music Charts.

In an attempt to fill a void for musical artists in Canada, from 2010 - 2015, Steve produced, directed, and hosted 'LOCAL LIVE CANADA™' hoping to provide musical artists who may be hidden under the radar an opportunity to step into the spotlight for all to see and hear. The show quickly gained popularity, and by its record-breaking 5th season, a winner was chosen with over 160,000 public votes.

Before the 6th season took shape, Steve's work caught the attention of a UK-based company, which offered him a life-changing opportunity to venture across the globe and continue captivating audiences on both land and sea.

His remarkable journey began in 2017 when he took the stage with his sensational solo concert series on Silversea's world-renowned 6-star luxury cruise ships. As 2018 unfolded, he electrified audiences while headlining seven dazzling production shows as the principal male vocalist with Princess Cruises and captivating locales across Australia and Asia. 2018 Steve continued night after night with his high-energy performances on Carnival Cruises sailing around the U.S.A. Then, in 2019, he took his talents to Europe, traveling between Germany and Norway aboard the world's largest cruise ferry with Colorline.

In the middle of 2020, Steve unveiled an exciting new original single and video titled "Cause I," making its debut on radio stations in the U.K. and throughout Europe. This captivating video shot in Kyiv, Ukraine, quickly gained traction and was featured on numerous platforms across the U.K., Europe, and South Africa.

By 2021, Steve had the incredible opportunity to partner closely with Universal Studios, Illumination Entertainment, and Spectral Motion to bring the sensational film 'SING' to the stage in China in a stage adaptation of 'SING: On Tour.' With great pride, Steve took on the role of "JOHNNY" in the original production cast at Universal Studios Beijing, making a lasting impression in this thrilling new show.

Steve most recently completed an exhilarating two-year engagement with Royal Caribbean Productions, where he originated and played the sinister evil lead role of 'Crash' in 'THE EFFECTORS II: Crash & Burn.' Steve was an integral part of the original production cast aboard The Wonder of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship at the time.

In 2022, Steve released his most recent single, "TORN," to continue bringing awareness to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. The song is a profound and resonant anthem for those who have experienced feelings of helplessness. It has gained significant traction with airplay on radio all over Europe and has sparked attention from multiple US media companies. The track has two versions: one in English and the other with both English and Ukrainian lyrics.

Currently, Steve is performing in his solo production show 'PLAYLIST' aboard the Enchanted Princess with Princess Cruises. The show was written, produced, and directed by Steve and takes you on an emotional and intimate journey of his past, present, and future. This high-energy, non-stop production concert is backed by the Princess Orchestra and is set to breathtaking (self-produced) visuals that will touch your heart and inspire you. On off nights, he joins the resident production cast to feature in their signature production show' ROCK OPERA'.
